When Elizabeth Warren Finds Out She’s Actually African

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign is a joke. It began as a joke with the Ivy League professor pretending to do working class things like drink beer, and it continues as a joke today as she tries to relate to people who want absolutely nothing to do with her.

Remember, it wasn’t that long ago when the progressive lawmaker was considered a strong POTUS pick. After she won her first Senate race, she was hailed as a fresh face in Democratic politics in a similar way that New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is today. But, Democratic Party politics have changed a lot since 2012, and she hasn’t been able to change with the times.

And it would be impossible for her to — she’s not intersectional enough. With identity politics now dominating the Democratic Party’s ideological makeup, there is simply no way to consolidate support without that intersectional base. Apparently, pretending to be an American Indian throughout the entirety of her adult career wasn’t the best way to go about this.

So, yes — we’ve reached the day when the Democratic base is actually too radical for Elizabeth Warren.
