Twitter’s Shadow-Banning Tells You Everything You Need to Know

If you ever hear anyone tell you that Silicon Valley companies aren’t insanely biased against conservatives or really anything not explicitly left-wing, just show them this.

Prominent voices on the right have been seeing their accounts “shadow-banned” for several years. Now, with people like Alex Jones being blatantly kicked off of several social media platforms all within the same 12-hour period, the bias against the right is more obvious than ever.

While Twitter cracks down on organizations like the Proud Boys, communists and domestic terrorists are able to operate completely uninterrupted. Strangely, the word “communist” doesn’t carry the same emotional weight as “Nazi,” despite the fact that the hateful ideology has been used to justify the killing of millions in the 20th century.

Antifa, a group that engages in open terrorism and encourages its followers to use violence against those they disagree with, garners no disciplinary action from the likes of Facebook or Twitter whatsoever.

Social media companies are complicit in the degrading of our national discourse.
