Do you ever wish you could jump into a time machine just to tell leftists how wrong they’re about to be about everything?
Maybe you do, but we don’t — it’s far more entertaining to watch their economically illiterate ideas fall apart in real time. This is why we can’t get enough of this classic tweet by left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore.
As you can see, Moore heavily supported Venezuela’s Marxist revolution — the same revolution that is responsible for the country being the basket case that it is today. Under Hugo Chavez’s leadership, economic productivity stifled, and this was exacerbated even further when Maduro took over. Now, rolling blackouts due to power shortages are common. People have even coined the term “the Maduro diet” to describe the scarcity of food in the country.
Moore and his leftist contemporaries weren’t directly responsible for Venezuela’s fall, but the own part of the blame for the massive mis-information campaigns that preceded it.
