This is What REAL Immigration Looks Like

When President Donald Trump — or really any other Republican — talks about wanting to secure the border or crack down on illegal immigration, the media wants you to believe that they are taking a stand against what we see in the top of the picture.

Of course, no rational person has a problem with that part of the image. Almost all Americans believe that, if someone born somewhere else in the world wants to move to their country and help make it a better place, they should be able to do so. We’ve been encouraging exactly this since our country’s inception.

It’s the bottom of the picture Americans have a problem with, and rightfully so. If your very first move on U.S. soil is breaking its laws, we have every reason to believe you’re going to continue doing so. These aren’t aspiring scientists hopping the fence — these are criminals. Of course, there are some who may have been forced into doing what they are doing to escape a tense situation. But this is exactly why people need to be vetted at the border — because WE DON’T KNOW.

The fact that you’re seeing the migrant caravans at the U.S.-Mexico border clash with border patrol agents and make demands for absurd amounts of money suggest that the latter description is more appropriate.
