This is What a ‘Communist Cookie’ Looks Like

Get it? Because everyone who lives under communism goes hungry?

Of course, it’s a joke for us living in the capitalist west, but this was a very bleak and sad reality for tens of millions of people just a few short decades ago. For many more, this is still the reality of daily life. Castro’s Cuba and Maduro’s Venezuela are just a few examples. The horrors of North Korean communism is another obvious case.

It really makes you wonder how such a perverted and evil ideology gained such traction in the first place. The truth is that hard leftism became a rallying cry because a few progressives thought it was bad to see a few people going hungry on the streets. Apparently, it wasn’t fair that the rest of the population wasn’t starving as well.

There’s a saying that when a capitalist sees a staircase, he builds a ramp so the disabled can climb them too. When a leftist sees a staircase, he breaks everyone’s legs so no one can climb them.

Naturally, a lot of you probably prefer the cookie analogy shown here — and that’s okay.
