These Senators Have to Be Fired Now

The United States of America is governed by a legal system that has been created and recreated by a long line of philosophical thinkers dating back all the way to ancient Greece.

Under this Greco-Roman school of thought, a simple accusation against an individual’s character is not enough grounds to toss them into prison. It certainly isn’t enough to disqualify someone from any position of prominence. Accusations have to be substantiated with supporting evidence. This is why jurors in America are instructed to pass along a guilty verdict only if they are convinced “beyond a shadow of a doubt” that a transgression against the law truly occurred.

This logical approach to life is being stripped away by the cultural Marxists who have infiltrated our politics. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has already been convicted as a rapist by the court of public opinion despite the fact that his accuser has presented absolutely no evidence to support her claims.

Judicial nominations cannot function this way. No area of government that calls itself a constitutional republic can function this way. If Democratic lawmakers who are using the latest allegation against Kavanaugh as an excuse to strike down his nomination are serious, they will agree to another hearing. If not, this matter should be scrapped, and the Senate should move to confirm Kavanaugh with a yes-or-no vote immediately.

These underhanded tactics by the likes of Sen. Dianne Feinstein have to stop.
