The Kavanaugh Climax in a Nutshell

Liberals across the country caused flash flooding on Monday as Judge Brett Kavanaugh became Justice Brett Kavanaugh, cementing the conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh was finally able to take the job after investigators were unable to corroborate any of the disgusting allegations made about him. Now, with midterm elections just weeks away, Republicans are able to accurately point their fingers at their Democratic opponents, and recall their abhorrent behavior over the past few weeks.

First, Kavanaugh was a reactionary who wanted to turn the United States into an actual reenactment of The Handmaiden’s Tale. When that turned out to be untrue, he became a sexual predator and later a gang rapist. When no one was able to prove that, he became an perjurer. Then he was an alcoholic. At one point, he was too emotional.

The obstructionism and bullying coming from Democrats in the Senate was exhausting for everyone who has been paying attention. Now, the mythic “blue wave” that was supposed to come in November is vanishing. Many Americans shutter to think about what the country would look like if the same people who turned a simple confirmation hearing into an absolute clown show were given actual power over others.

They’re not wrong.
