When you want to hide something, the obvious place to put it is the place where whoever you’re hiding it from will never look.
By this logic, in the case of a socialist takeover of the United States where gun owners were being stripped of their Second Amendment rights, the best place to stash a pistol would probably be this book explaining how the economy works. Sadly, this book would probably be banned too, but least you’ll be able to keep your gun for a little while.
For those who don’t recognize the title, Basic Economics by renowned author and commentator Thomas Sowell is one of the most important contributions to the modern conservative movement. Sowell has had a massive influence on many political thinkers today, including Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Ben Shapiro. Virtually every popular pundit on the right has had nothing but positive things to say about Sowell and his work.
If you have the time over the summer, definitely pick up a copy if you haven’t read it already. Apparently, it’s also a great place to hide your gun…
