One thing we all can agree on about Texas Senator Ted Cruz is that he knows how to punch back when he’s being trolled.
This liberal probably knew he was going to score some easy internet points among his echo chamber when he handed a copy of the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx over to Ted Cruz during a signing.
Cruz’s take on the act was simple: pointing out Marx’s twisted ideology for what it really is.
“Millions have suffered because of this,” the senator wrote.
And it’s true. Between the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 to the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 90s, communist dictators have collectively killed at least 100 million people — many of those killings being made by their own governments. The Holodomor, for example, saw the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians when Joseph Stalin moved to consolidate power there.
This makes communism the deadliest ideology in history.
You really have to hand it to Ted Cruz for turning a troll around.
