Meet the New Congresswomen Who Hate Laws and Borders

By the looks of this photo, we feel like the most cringe-worthy social justice hip-hop album is about to drop any minute. We can picture it now — full songs about living in the Bronx when you actually grew up in a wealthy suburb in Westchester county.

This, of course, is a photo-op posted by the now-infamous new New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is basically just a more aesthetically pleasing Bernie Sanders. Apparently, the person who put the captions here had the same impression we did, seeing the poses as reminiscent of left-wing court shows. The added captions seem far more accurate, however.

Every person pictured here is marching behind the idea that borders don’t matter, and that President Donald Trump is the ultimate evil in American politics. Naturally, Huffington Post loved the photo, writing at length about how the intersectional identities of everyone here is some sort of historic accomplishment.

For people that claim to be the most tolerant with regards to race and gender, progressives sure are obsessed with these things…
