Liberals Call Christmas Song “Sexist”, Listen to Rap Music

Let’s do a short thought experiment: when you think of sexism in music, which songs tend to pop up in your head? Is it a timeless Christmas classic, or literally any hip-hop song?

Hip-hop music has boldly and at times proudly sexualized women, with males giving females sexual instructions being a seemingly constant lyrical theme. In the age of “#MeToo”, you would think this style of music would be on the hit list for today’s modern empowered feminists. But it isn’t. Instead, they’re going after songs recorded decades ago that may possibly contain vague references to intimacy.

Sure enough, if you listen to “Baby it’s Cold Outside”, the man in question does appear to be encouraging a woman he’s interested to stay inside with him rather than brave the winter weather. Is he telling her to perform explicit sexual acts? Is he berating her by calling her various names for a prostitute? The answer to both questions is a definite no.

So, what are the feminists so upset about here? They seem to have a problem with every holiday — they tell you what you can’t wear on Halloween, they actually dread possibly having conversations with Republican family members on Thanksgiving, the Fourth of July is problematic and imperialist…and the list goes on. It’s almost as if feminism makes women unhappy or something…
