Hollywood actress and filmmaker Jodie Foster is taking her turn to virtue signal by contributing some class warfare rhetoric of her own.
In a post submitted by the page Occupy Democrats, Foster is shown defending the leftist argument that the poor are poor because the rich have more money.
According to Foster, who herself is valued at roughly $100 million, rich people in the United States are committing some sort of crime against society by keeping their own money for themselves. Apparently, no one has yet let her know that she can freely do this if she so chooses.
This has always been a ridiculous argument. Wealth is generally distributed based on economic productivity, and theres really nothing stopping less wealthy individuals from doing everything in their power to become richer themselves. Well, the government might prove to be a nuisance, but leftists prefer to ignore that.
