CNN’s Jim Acosta is the gift that truly keeps on giving. Just when you think he has tarnished his employer’s reputation beyond all repair, he finds inventive new ways to sink himself into a deeper pit of insanity.
Last week, a smug Acosta embarked on another courageous and journalistic adventure by visiting the southern border between the U.S. and Mexico. As the Trump administration continued to make its case for building a wall there, Acosta appeared happy to help when he reported there was no criminal activity while standing next to some steel fencing.
Obviously, Acosta thought he was somehow disproving the need for a wall by pointing out there was nothing bad happening around him. Well, if he really wanted to do that, he should have placed himself at any other point of the thousands of miles of unprotected areas between the United States and Mexico. Instead, he stood next to a wall.
