By the end of Election Day, gubernatorial and Senate races in Florida were called on razor-thin margins. Basically, it was a normal election in the Sunshine State.
In keeping with tradition, however, Florida Senator Bill Nelson refused to concede to Republican Challenger and Florida Governor Rick Scott, and Democrat Andrew Gillum withdrew his concession to Republican Governor-elect Ron DeSantis. Once again, good ole’ Broward County forgot to count some ballots!
Nearly a week after newscasters called the votes, Broward County election officials are still counting. President Donald Trump and others have suggested that there is less counting and more, um, “finding” votes going on, and there is reason to believe that. To suggest that election fraud doesn’t happen in the United States is a blissful fantasy.
Seriously ask yourself this: if the allegedly missing ballots were from, say, members of the military or rural counties, do you really think election results would be postponed like this?
