Flashback: North Korea Was Supposed to Nuke Us All in 2016

The Trump presidency truly is the gift that keeps on giving…

After Donald Trump took the oath of office, Democrats seemed pretty certain a foreign policy disaster was imminent, and armageddon was upon us. This hysteria reached wild heights when Trump began posturing to North Korea after the country continued to threaten its neighbors by testing long-range ballistic missiles.

Now, it’s very clear we’ve come a long way from the “fire and fury” the president promised would befall Kim Jong-Un if the rogue nation didn’t get its act together. After a historic meeting between the two leaders, it appears that the Kim dynasty is finally ready to disarm and actually engage the rest of the world.

The funniest part about all of this is watching Democrats try to pretend that the meeting — the first ever to take place between an American president and a North Korean leader — is somehow a bad thing. Democrats have historically billed their party as the forbearers of diplomacy and soft power. Watching them squirm when these things are actually applied is priceless.
