Feminists Accidentally Tell the Truth With This Absurd Meme

Feminist pages on Facebook are a gold mine for unironic memery, and one of the most popular shares in recent months may accidentally reveal some pretty vivid truths about the reactionary wing of the movement.

The meme, which is really just a picture of a protest sign containing a quote attributed to Christian firebrand Pat Robertson, says the following:

“Feminism encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians.”

At face value, you can tell you’re supposed to walk away from this picture with the idea that Robertson’s assessment is absurdly untrue – except that the words were almost prophetically true.

Third-wave feminists have openly called for women to become less dependent on men, to the point of condemning the institution of marriage as an oppressive venture. The “kill their children” bit seems a bit crude, but it underscores the movement’s hardcore support for abortion and pro-choice initiatives (news flash: human embryos are, well…human).

As for witchcraft, there was a viral video circulating through social media showing a Wiccan cult performing a “destruction spell” to oust President Donald Trump – so, maybe this isn’t that far from the truth.

And of course, modern feminism is inherently anti-capitalist. The movement’s support for pressuring private businesses to become more “diverse” (translation: not male) is just one example.

This meme is a special kind of stupid for the left, in that it accidentally exposes their twisted ideology. The fact that uneducated youths are sharing it with gusto is more than a bit concerning.
