Democrats Play Mental Gymnastics in Response to Trump’s Economy

President Donald Trump is levied plenty of criticisms by Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike. Some of these criticisms, such as the president’s tendency to mouth off without consulting with other members of his administration, are entirely valid. One thing no one can deny, however, is that the economy is booming under his watch.

…but the Democrats are trying to anyway, and it’s hilarious watching them do so.

Throughout former President Barack Obama’s turbulent time in office, sluggish economic growth was frequently attributed to the conditions he inherited from his Republican predecessor, George W. Bush. This excuse mysteriously vanished into thin air toward the end of 2016, when the U.S. economy finally began showing signs of serious recovery.

Now that GDP growth has risen to levels many economists thought impossible, and unemployment levels have dropped to record lows, Democrats are employing this same logic to discredit President Trump’s achievements.

Could it possibly be that businesses tend to do better under the watch of more pro-business governments? No, that would make too much sense…
