The latest example comes from Barbra Streisand, a musician and filmmaker that nobody has cared about in a long time. According to Streisand, the only reason women support President Donald Trump or Republicans is because their evil conservative husbands tell them to.
Wait a minute, what happened to women being independent? Isn’t that basically the core concept of feminism as a whole? This is pretty awkward…
Of course, Streisand isn’t the first left-winger to come out and say dumb things like this. Two-time loser Hillary Clinton essentially said the same thing in her book What Happened, and doubled-down on that contention in various interviews. That’s right Hillary — the only reason women didn’t support you out of some sort of genitalia loyalty is because they’re just mindless drones who obey their husbands without question. Is this why you refuse to take rape allegations against your own husband seriously?
Again, we have a perfect example of why Americans don’t really seem to care about what celebrities have to say anymore.
