Another Way to Look at the “MAGA Country” Attack That DIDN’t Happen

Two persons of interest have been detained in the case of Empire star Jussie Smollett, who alleged earlier this month that he was attacked by two racist white people who yelled “this is MAGA country!” while pouring bleach on his face.

Here’s the problem…both of the people who were detained are black Nigerians. This story didn’t age well.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way: why would racist white nationalists actually Empire? It doesn’t seem like the kind of program that would appeal to losers who like Hitler. Going further…why would they take the time out of their lives to target one of the people who acts in it?

Also, the facts surrounding the story raise more than a few red flags. Smollett was apparently holding a Subway sandwich at the time of the attack…which he appeared to have with him after he reported the attack to the Chicago police. When officers asked to see his phone to corroborate his claims (he said he was using it when the attack began), he refused.

Based on everything that we know, the entire story is a hoax — but we’re not counting on the mainstream media to issue any retractions. Their slanderous lies about the Covington kids are still live.
