The Shocking Parallels Between Liberalism and Islam

Years ago, Democrats billed themselves as a secular party built on the ideas of separation of church and state and freedom of expression. All of this changed when the DNC opened its arms to intersectionality politics.

For those who remember the Democratic Party of the 90s and early 2000s, it seems hard to fathom how these secular purists can rail against traditionalism and Christianity while simultaneously maintaining a lukewarm take on radical Islam. With modern intersectionality accepted into its platform, however, it begins to make far more sense.

Like hardline Islam, intersectionality demands conformity and submission. This can range from anything from using non-gendered pronouns to forcing a religious business owner to participate in a same-sex wedding. Americans have already witnessed the latter scenario play out in Colorado with the Masterpiece Cakeshop forced to go out of business.

People living in areas controlled by Islamic political forces are essentially subjected to the same top-down hierarchy. Atheists, Christians, and even moderate Muslims face constant persecution in places like Saudi Arabia.

It’s times like this when liberals should really take a long, hard look in the mirror, and remember what their principles really are.
