How Ben Shapiro Trolled Every Feminist on Mother’s Day

One thing is for sure: you can’t have Mother’s Day without mothers, and Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro was happy to point that out this year.

A noted cultural critic and one of the regressive left’s least favorite public figures, Shapiro has many times called out feminist accounts on Twitter over their blatant hypocrisy in regards to the role of women in society. While many of these accounts celebrate the idea that women are free to choose how they want to conduct their lives in the modern age, they chastise many for choosing to stay at home and observe a more traditionalist role as a mother.

Respectable mothers understand that they aren’t victims of some secret patriarchal cult that is hell-bent on turning them into house servants. They are, like those women who choose to focus more on their careers, simply living their lives in accordance with their values. Seeing as motherhood is physically, emotionally, and financially demanding, it makes sense to have a day set aside to honor them.

Of course, celebrating Mother’s Day also requires people to understand that there are, in fact, only two genders, so it also makes sense why the radical left has a hard time with it.
