France is Experiencing a ‘Great Awakening’ Right Now

There is a populist awakening happening in France right now, and its implications are much larger than what many in the mainstream media would have you think.

When large media outlets like CNN, the Washington Post, or others report on the so-called “yellow vest” demonstrations, they want you to believe that this begins and ends with people being angry about fuel taxes. Sure, that’s definitely part of it. But the yellow vests have far more demands than the government simply scrapping an unpopular tax — taxes are almost never popular unless you’re a rich liberal.

The yellow vests are anti-Macron, and President Emanuel Macron is a globalist. By that extension, the yellow vest movement (at least a large portion of it), is anti-globalist.

Now, what does that mean? Well, for one, the so-called outsider president (who is actually a banking industry elite) is insanely pro-EU, supports the same mass immigration policies German Chancellor Angela Merkel does, and wants the 28-nation trade bloc to have its own army. Oh, and Macron has also referred to himself as Jupiter, the chief deity of ancient Rome. How humble.

This is the problem that the French people have with Macron — he doesn’t seem to like being French that much. This is the man who marched around to the EU anthem instead of the French national anthem when he won his election. Seeing that, it’s really no wonder who people who do like being French are really upset about it.

Conservatives should cheer the French people’s embrace of patriotism — it will be a very important part of defeating globalism around the world.
