Are Democrats Losing Patience with Robert Mueller?

After waiting for over a year for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to deliver the bombshell evidence showing that Donald Trump colluded with the Russian government to steal the 2016 presidential election away from Hillary Clinton, Democratic Party elites are still left wanting.

Despite several Trump officials and appointees implicated over some improper campaign conduct, and President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer being raided, Mueller has been mysteriously quiet. Seeing as every one of Mueller’s moves has been headline news, it’s foolish to believe that he’s found the bombshell he’s been looking for and is waiting for the perfect time to use it. Let’s face it, if Mueller’ has announced it at this point, there’s no reason to expect him to any time soon.

This might be a serious reason as to why the Democratic National Committee filed a lawsuit against the Trump campaign, WikiLeaks, as well as the Russian government. Mueller hasn’t found any evidence to suggest that Trump was colluding with the Russian government in any way, so the DNC wants to jump in to expedite the process.

All this has done is further damage the Democratic Party’s image. Aside from a few of its Senate firebrands proposing wild progressive policies, there has been no serious policy push from the DNC this campaign season on anything other than a vague promise to impeach the sitting president.

As the caricature says in this cartoon, perhaps the best thing to do is let them knock themselves out.
